Advice about going into heath care: First and foremost you have to want to do it. And you have to care about people.

“I decided to do nursing for one, I didn't want to go to medical school. I didn't -- because I want a family and I want a life one day. Not to say that -- I have a lot of friends that are doctors and they're good friends of mine, but I didn't want to be in school for 15 years. I also wanted to be a nurse because I was always interested in medicine and the body and how it works, along with taking care of people and helping people. And the route I chose, obviously was pediatrics, and that is why I'm doing what I'm doing is helping kids. And it is an awesome rewarding job.”
